Freedom Summer
is now Freedom Fall.

We opened on Juneteenth. We marched through the John Lewis Days and the anniversary of the Voting Rights Act. None of that was the finish line. Freedom Summer is rolling into Freedom Fall — the same coalition, the same drumbeat of mobilizations, now aimed squarely at the midterms and the fight to protect every vote through November 3.

The season changes. The work doesn't. We are unstoppable.

The Vote Is Sacred 2026 is Interfaith Alliance’s nationwide effort to protect our democracy and empower people of faith to get out the vote in the midterm elections. At the heart of it is a free six-part virtual training series that equips clergy, congregations, and faith-based advocates to meet this moment.

Power the Polls
Recruit the next generation of poll workers
Now through September 15  ·  Nationwide

When polling places close, it becomes harder for voters to reach the ballot box. Power the Polls is recruiting poll workers who want to serve their communities and keep elections safe and fair. Over one million people have signed up since 2020. The Leadership Conference Education Fund is a proud partner.

How to help: share the word with your network by email and social media to recruit poll workers across the country. A promotional toolkit is available from Power the Polls.

Party at the Polls

The Leadership Conference is proud to partner with When We All Vote on their biggest Party at the Polls ever. It’s an evidence-based, nonpartisan program built to increase turnout in underrepresented communities — scaling nationwide this year as a vehicle for both mobilizing voters and protecting access to free and fair elections.

How to help: spread the word to your networks by email and social media using the Party at the Polls promotion toolkit.

Community organizations could be eligible for grants to fund their parties; the interest-form deadline for grant consideration was September 7. The interest form is still the way to get connected to their team.
