Freedom Summer.

Our parents and grandparents marched, organized, resisted and won. The Voting Rights Act was theirs. The fight is ours — and it's bigger now.

Freedom Summer

The South is everywhere.Get Involved.

Every Black neighborhood in America is a Great Migration story — Harlem, the South Side, Detroit, Oakland. Every one of these cities is a generation away from the South.

Montgomery got us started. Mississippi kept it going. Freedom Summer is a nationwide season of action — opening Juneteenth Week, running through the John Lewis Days, Voter Registration Day, and Election Day. Movement and momentum for the midterms and beyond.

Join us from July 17th – July 19th as we honor the legacy of John Lewis and carry the torch of the civil rights movement with Good Trouble Lives On in Atlanta.

No spam. We'll only contact you about Freedom Summer and related voting rights actions.
